Everything changed when Help in Humanity Trust recognized my talent and believed in my dream. At a time when I was struggling to even continue my art, they came forward with support, kindness, and encouragement. The organization provided me with art materials, guidance, and the confidence I needed to believe in myself again. For someone who once felt that her dreams might remain unfinished, this support meant everything.

They also helped create my professional website – artistlaxmi.com, giving me a platform where I could proudly showcase my artwork and connect with people who appreciate art. Slowly, my sketches were no longer just drawings on paper; they became a voice for my journey, my struggles, and my hopes. With their support, I was finally able to transform my passion into my profession.

Today, I feel proud and grateful to work as a professional artist and lead Project Kala Setu, an initiative by Help in Humanity Trust. This project is very close to my heart because I see my own childhood in many of the children we support. Through Kala Setu, my dream is to teach sketch art to children from underprivileged families completely free of cost, so that no talented child ever has to give up their dreams because of financial hardships like I once faced.

I want to stand beside these children, guide them, encourage them, and help them discover the power of their own talent. If my journey can inspire even one child to believe in their dreams, then every struggle I faced will feel meaningful.
